Tailgate Alaska World Freeride Festival is a celebration of this passion in its ultimate venue — a parking lot. For two weeks in springtime, a humble parking lot is transformed into the epicenter of the snowboarding and skiing universe. Yurts are set up, tents pitched and bbqs and helicopters fired up.
